Our wilder places needs wilder people. Our vision is to foster an empowered community of trail enthusiasts who inspire one another to grow, play & perform wilder whilst stepping up for our wilder places. We wish to do this by highlighting toe-tingling trails for playing wilder, whilst providing an aspirational, educational & non-competitive platform for us all to grow & perform wilder.
How it works...

Your participation can help us to rejuvinate our natural landscapes as well as invigorate our regional Tasmanian communities. Before & after each challenge we encourage you to play local, stay local and support local. Furthermore, all proceeds from the sale of badges & lapel pins will be reinjected back into this project to allow us to: create new routes; support our chosen community partners; and participate in activation projects that will help all living systems & cultures to continue to grow, play & perform wilder.

Growing Wilder

Every trail has a beginning. Every ancient tree a moment of germination. The moss once again turning greener after a dry spell. Our journeys also begin at a beginning, have twists and turns, pauses and then moments when we reallise, 'Now is the time to grow wilder!'.

Our Growing Wilder trails have been chosen as a friendlier starting point, a place where you can lean in and explore this whole experience. They are perfect for beginners, and for younger and more wisened legs alike. That is, they are for you! So, gather up your trail shoes, and rally your peers or families together for it's time to embark on a Growing Wilder adventure!

Playing Wilder

There comes a day when you step outside, breath in deeper lungfulls of enriched air and think, 'Damn! I need some fun!' Later, you are commuting home listening to a podcast filled with trail stories and adventure mojo. Then a text message arrives from your running buddy - 'I need a mission! Want to join me?' Three separate moments, three calls to action and oh-so-many reasons not to reject the call to Play Wilder!

We have selected our Playing Wilder trails to help you get out there, somewhere. We hope that these trails help you chase sparkles, connect deeper with our natural landscapes, explore ancient cultures, visit new communities and ignite deeper friendships. In essence, we hope that they assist you to Play Wilder!

Performing Wilder

A Currawong spreads his wings, soaring towards a further horizon. So too can you. The rainforest understory stretches towards the light, reaching upwards where the loftiest trees dance. So too can you. Out there, somewhere, a Thylacine roams wilder and free. So too can you. Do you feel the calling?

Our Performing Wilder trails are carefully selected to help you stretch beyond your internal boundaries. However, please do not take them lightly! Thriving on these routes will require focussed preparation and entering these landscapes with humility & reverence. We know that on these journeys you may face tests and find allies. This is all part of Performing Wilder! So again, you must willingly do the prior work, physically, technically & emotionally. If you do, we know that you will return intoxicated with a secret elixir, toes tingling for your 'what next!?'
